ABOUT US

A steady place to do the deeper work

Durango Family Therapy is a family-owned group practice on Main Avenue, serving individuals, couples, and families since 2016. We have built a strong team of experienced, licensed clinicians, so you are in skilled hands from your very first session.

Our Vision

A Durango where asking for support is ordinary, unhurried, and genuinely effective, and where healing reaches past the person in the room to everyone around them.

WHY CHOOSE US

Experienced clinicians you can count on

Our licensed therapists bring years of training and real-world experience to anxiety, depression, trauma, couples work, adolescents, and perinatal mental health, and several have practiced here for five to seven years. That depth means we can match you with the clinician whose training fits what you are facing, and you can keep working with the same person for as long as you need.

Fill out the appointment request form on this page. It asks a few short questions about what you are looking for and whether you have a therapist in mind, so we can match you with the right clinician and follow up to confirm a time.

Mostly listening and questions. Your therapist will want to understand what brought you in, what you have already tried, and what you want to be different. Together you will set a direction for the work ahead.

We accept cash, card, and most major insurance plans. We do not accept Medicaid or Medicare. If you are not sure about your coverage, give us a call and we will help you check.

It depends on what you are working through. Some people come for a focused stretch of a few months; others stay longer as new things surface. We revisit progress with you regularly rather than keeping you in therapy by default.
